Beginners track, Keynote, developer showcase and social activities
Join us for the keynote address where Kevin Miller, RunRev CEO will open the conference and introduce LiveCode Everywhere. This session will showcase the latest information about LiveCode, and will feature Mark Waddingham, RunRev CTO talking about the latest core features, and Ben Beaumont, LiveCode Product Manager, introducing LiveCode for iOS.
The day will then split into 3 tracks.
Track one: This exciting course will take you all the way through the process of building an iOS App. This session will be highly interactive with a focus on teaching by doing. You will be invited to follow along as we build this application together. We'll cover a lot of ground, including the basics of UI design and skinning for iOS, using gestures and multi-touch, accessing a database and much more. We'll provide a completed file at the end of each stage to keep the session flowing and a summary of resources referred to during the session, including books and websites we've picked out. At the end of the course we'll have a finished iOS application ready to deploy to a device or the App Store. This course will complete on Day One.
Track two will feature speakers demonstrating their use of LiveCode in a number of different settings, together with some of our Marketplace vendors demonstrating their products.
Track three is the Developer Showcase. Open your laptop and share what you are doing with LiveCode. This is a great opportunity to see what the rest of the community is creating.
