What People Say About Revolution Conferences
"I've been to four conferences, and I've never come back without my mind swimming through numerous wonderful ideas..."

"I'm always inspired by other developers and how they are using Revolution to create exciting and innovative solutions. Being able to spend a few days brainstorming face to face with other developers is priceless. Every year I walk away with new ideas and techniques that I incorporate into my projects."
Trevor DeVore, Blue Mango Learning Systems "My business depends upon software I create with Revolution, and my customers depend upon my software for their businesses, around the world on a daily basis. I have found the previous Revolution conferences to be valuable for providing feedback, feature requests and enhancing my own technical knowledge. Revolution Live promises to be even more of a "Must-Attend" conference for me due to enhanced participation by the Revolution engineers. I look forward to learning even more about Revolution for my own development projects, as well as having the opportunity to meet and network with other Revolution developers. An additional big attraction for me is the NDA Meeting with Mark Waddingham and Kevin Miller. Since my business depends upon Revolution, it is extremely valuable to me to understand future development plans and how these plans may affect my products. I am undertaking development efforts right now which are a little ahead of the curve in terms of Revolution's current feature set. I am basing my current development efforts upon info which I learned at last year's NDA Meeting at RevConWest."
David Simpson, .com Solutions Inc "I've been to four Revolution conferences in as many years, and I have to say "They rock!" They do. They're fun, packed with arcane and obvious stuff about Revolution design, coding, and most important, the latest cool new stuff from the gruesome twosome from the UK: Kevin and Mark. Of course, Kevin NDA'd the entire wait staff at the hotel, and I thought, "Hey! Was that cavity search REALLY necessary?" Seriously, if you use Revoluton, want to learn to use Revolution, want to make a living using Revolution, want to hook up with other techies who do the same, or any of the above...go to a Revolution developer's conference. I am a consultant and I have gotten contract work at every single conference. More than paid for the entire extravaganza. PLUS...I got out of the house! You can't beat that."
Jerry Daniels, Daniels & Mara Inc "A general rule about learning is that you can have breadth or depth but not both. The ice cream store has 31 flavors (breadth), but you can only choose one or two or three. The airline pilot and the surgeon follow well defined checklists (depth). If you want breadth and depth, play a game like bridge or chess. Unless, of course, you go to a RunRev conference. At a RunRev conference you can learn about something that is not a game. You'll find an accessible speaker on just about everything (breadth), and you'll find willing experts who can help you get to the bottom of your problem (depth). I've been to four conferences, and I've never come back without my mind swimming through numerous wonderful ideas about how to solve the (learning) problems I try to address in my work. The biggest change for me was when, after a Jerry Daniels talk, I decided to store the data at the back end of my cgi operations as xml-like text files. That idea alone was worth the price of all four admissions!"
